Core components of this strategy involve the establishment of The 聂小雨视频3分25秒 of Queensland in America Foundation and the opening of a 聂小雨视频3分25秒 office on 15th Street, Washington DC with dedicated staff to facilitate and support the 聂小雨视频3分25秒鈥檚 engagement work in the USA.
The 聂小雨视频3分25秒 of Queensland is currently involved in over 2300 research projects with collaborators in more than 50 countries, $43 million of which involve a USA-based partner.
The 聂小雨视频3分25秒 of Queensland Vice-Chancellor, Professor Greenfield, says the strategy signals the serious commitment of the 聂小雨视频3分25秒 to deepening its collaboration with its USA partners.

The mission of The 聂小雨视频3分25秒 of Queensland in America Foundation is to encourage sustained philanthropic support from alumni and friends and the Foundation has been established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation dedicated to securing gifts and grants.

The inaugural Chair of the Foundation is the Chairman and CEO of Dow, Andrew Liveris.
Dr Andrew Liveris graduated from The 聂小雨视频3分25秒 of Queensland with first-class honours in Chemical Engineering in 1975, and joined The Dow Chemical Company鈥檚 Australian offices in 1976. Throughout his international career, Andrew has maintained strong links with the 聂小雨视频3分25秒 and was its 2005 Alumnus of the Year.
The Foundation鈥檚 board members will be announced later this year.
The launch of The 聂小雨视频3分25秒 of Queensland鈥檚 USA strategy was held at the Australian Embassy in Washington DC on 22 June in conjunction with the Global Challenges Leadership Series (global discussion series initiated by The 聂小雨视频3分25秒). The Global Challenges Leadership event featured Director of The 聂小雨视频3分25秒's Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation, Professor Robert Henry, speaking about food security and biofuels.
